Exclusive Eco (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy and protects the personal information you share with us. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

Exclusive Eco (Pty) Ltd (registration 2021/977094/07) provides pest control, wildlife management and hygiene services in George and across the Garden Route, Western Cape, South Africa.

What we collect

We collect personal information that you give us directly:

When you contact us or request a service through our website forms, we ask for your name, surname, phone number, email address, your town, the service you need, and your message. If you choose to send us photos of a pest or wildlife problem, we receive those too.

When you become a client, we also record the details needed to do the work and run our business properly: your service address, appointment and service history, and invoicing details.

When you communicate with us by phone, WhatsApp, email or the chat on our website, we keep a record of that communication.

Why we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries and provide quotes, to schedule and carry out services at your property, to send you the documents that go with our work (such as service reports and safety data sheets), to invoice you and keep proper financial records, and to meet our legal obligations, including health and safety record keeping.

We do not sell your personal information. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the trusted service providers that run our systems: our website host, the Zoho platform we use for email, forms, scheduling, invoicing and chat, and our online payment provider when you choose to pay online. These providers may process information on servers outside South Africa. We use reputable providers that protect personal information to standards consistent with POPIA.

We will disclose information where the law requires it.

Online payments

Where we offer online payment, the payment itself is processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, a cookie that remembers your cookie choices, and, if you use the live chat, cookies set by the chat service. A consent banner lets you accept or decline cookies that are not essential.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and as long as the law requires, for example for financial and safety records. After that it is deleted.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing in certain cases. Send any request to info@exclusiveeco.co.za and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at www.inforegulator.org.za.

Children

Our services are contracted by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
